چکیده

Manual or computer assisted peak deconvolution on chromatograms of the racemate of 1-chloro-2,2-dimethylaziridine enantiomers GC was used to determine the peak areas of enantiomers in the racemate prior (AA,0, AB,0) and after the separation (AA, AB). These peak areas were used in the determination of apparent rate constants and apparent energy barrier to enantiomerization. Comparison of apparent energy barriers determined using deconvolution of chromatograms with data published in literature showed differences within 7 % rel.

Evaluation of Hemodynamic Response Function in Vision and Motor Brain Regions for the Young and Elderly Adults

Introduction: Prior studies comparing Hemodynamic Response Function (HRF) in the young and elderly adults based on fMRI data have reported inconsistent findings for brain vision and motor regions in healthy aging. It is shown that the averaging method employed in all previous works has caused this inconsistency. The averaging is so sensitive to outliers and noise. However, fMRI data are o...

Determination of Fiber Direction in High Angular Resolution Diffusion Images using Spherical Harmonics Functions and Wiener Filter

Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) MRI is a noninvasive imaging method of the cerebral tissues whose fibers directions are not evaluated correctly in the regions of the crossing fibers. For the same reason the high angular resolution diffusion images (HARDI) are used for estimation of the fiber direction in each voxel. One of the main methods to specify the direction of fibers is usage of the spher...

Flexibility vs Rigidity of Singly and Doubly Tethered Biphenyls: Structure, Dynamic Stereochemistry, and Resolution of Tribenzo[a,c,f]cyclooctane, Tetrabenzo[a,de,h,kl]bicyclo[6.6.0]tetradecane, and Their Alkyl Derivatives.

The barrier for enantiomerization of tribenzo[a,c,f]cyclooctane (1a) as acquired from dynamic (1)H NMR experiments was found to be DeltaG() = 19.5-20.1 kcal mol(-)(1), and DeltaG() = 17.2-17.6 kcal mol(-)(1) for its alkylated derivatives (1b-e) at the coalescence temperatures. Tetrabenzo[a,de,h,kl]bicyclo[6.6.0]tetradecane (2a) and its tetraethyl derivative (2b) were separated to their enantiom...

Using Dynamic Thermal Rating and Energy Storage Systems Technologies Simultaneously for Optimal Integration and Utilization of Renewable Energy Sources

Nowadays, optimal integration and utilization of renewable energy sources (RES) are of the most challenging issues in power systems. The wind and solar generation units' maximum production may or may not occur at peak consumption times resulting in non-optimal utilization of these resources. As a solution to this problem, energy storage systems (ESS) are embedded in networks. However, the power...

A New Method for Hybrid Energy Storage Capacity Determination in Isolated Micro Grid

In recent years, hybrid energy storage (HES) to increase lifetime and reliability extremely are used in renewable systems and microgrids. In this paper, a new method for determining battery and supercapacitor capacity in an isolated microgrid is presented. Difference between Generation and load power using discrete fourier transform is transferred to the frequency domain and by determining the ...
